say cheese!

a couple of weeks ago jen huang and i found our way (barely) to the melangerie trunk show at the brooklyn collective. i say barely because it did involve me picking jen up off the side of the street not long after i found myself lost on the same dark corner. it was well worth the adventure once we made it! melangerie sold some beautiful goods and there was a photo booth!
gosh, i love a photo booth!
thanks to george massim photography for running the booth!
we've got tammy golson, pepper (soon to be the most famous pup in blog world), jen huang, & elana from melangerie.

We love these vintage inspired cameo & intaglio rings from Extesia. Each is handmade using traditional tools and techniques. The intaglios in a small Bavarian Village and the Cameos in an Italian seaside town (rumored to have invented the art of cameo making).

They could make for a pretty snazzy engagement ring... just sayin.

Fun Summer Wedding!

This past August we had a blast working on this very sweet wedding with planner Lisa Green at the Onteora Mountain House. The lovely Jenny Ebert sent over her gorgeous photos of the big day and we thought we'd share a few with all of you!

The rectangular tables each had a large birch vase overflowing with bright summer flowers and a few smaller budvases running the length of them; while the round tables got a variety of vintage bottles displayed on a birch round.

Each table number was placed in a vintage flower frog.

a vineyard inspired wedding

we recently designed a wedding at the foundry, which is one of our absolute favorite venues in NYC. i just love the clear top tent next to the 59th street bridge, the industrial interior of the venue, and all of the charming characteristics that this historical building has to offer.
here is a snippet of the vineyard inspired tablescapes we designed for this lovely affair.
can't wait to share the rest!

Watermelon Radishes!

Last weekend p&p took a much needed break and both of us headed for the country! Sierra went to a wonderful place in Pennsylvania and I headed to my mom's house in Maryland. One of the best parts of our little town there is the Saturday morning farmers market. When I saw these watermelon radishes there I couldn't resist picking up a few and bringing them back to the studio for Sierra to see! We are now obsessed with them and want to put them in everything... from dinner to the centerpiece!
